Mathias

Meet Mathias who was disabled who cannot Walk nor talk since 3 years. The father abandoned the family after realizing that his son was on disability and he claims that he cannot give birth to a disable. Mathias been living with the mom until when we decided to take over and have him under our care.
According to Mathias, he owes his success to God and Mutima children foundation for rescuing him. He says, “I want to become an accountant in the future. At the age of 4 years the mother also went to be with the Lord leaving little Nisha in the hands of a relative. On burial we promised to take care of her while in her relative home but still it was not enough and we decided to have her under our care. She is on ARVs now though she needs a good diet to boast her immune system.

Life can be difficult enough for an orphan child living in Uganda, without the added struggle of sickness and disability. Gloria has never seen her father ever since she was born, her mom goes around to look for beer to drink this has torched her physiologically and she could not go to school rather look for metal scraps to sell and get money. We as MCF looked into her and decided to adopt her, she is now under our care and she is already in school.

They used to lives with their grandparents and Kayongo‟s mother died while giving birth, was breast fed by Grand mom now they are under our Care.
Grand mom now have no income and this is what granny said on receiving Mutima support “I am very happy receiving this food and soap, For the food…. we are going to start cooking right now, we will not wait. I am so happy, thank you Mutima Children foundation and thank you every person that has given to me and my family”.
We are so thankful for your support. Our aim going forward is to feed as many families as we possibly can get to at this time. We are also continuing to support the orphan and vulnerable children that have been rescued.

The father died of cancer 7yrs back and they were left with their mother who is crippled, can not afford school fees and feeding for her children. We have been taking care of them all through feeding educating sheltering them under mcf. During the period of lockdown, we decided to take care of the mother by giving her some supplies and some money for upkeep
